Modern Melbourne Houses – Doug Evans SOLD OUT
Subject to confirmation with owners and preparation of the
detailed itinerary the tour will include important houses designed by (amongst
others) Robin Boyd, Roy Grounds, David Chancellor, David Godsell, Kevin Borland
and Walter Burley Griffin.
Places will be limited to 11 - a minibus load. The tour will
take approximately five hours including short lunch and afternoon tea stops and
will include a cross section of exemplary modern houses from the last seventy
years or so.

New Works around St. Kilda Road – Stuart Harrison
Description: Starting at the Shrine of Remembrance (steps) -
going to ARM's Shrine extension, WoodMarsh's ACCA/Malthouse Redevelopment,
Edmond & Corrigan's' VCA Drama School, Minifie Nixon's VCA Centre for
Ideas, Mario Bellini's National Gallery of Victoria Refurbishment and finishing
for a drink at Peter Madison's Transport (pub) at Federation Square.

City Interior – Suzie Attiwill , Olivia Griffith and Roger Kemp CANCELLED
Time
will be spent strolling, inspecting and lounging in city interior. Exterior becoming
interior in the form of art gallery, retail space and night life - these limits
will be encountered.

The New West – Graham Crist CANCELLED
This tour will travel to the
sprawling western suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne, traditionally an area of
neglect in architectural attention. Extending from Footscray to Sunshine and
beyond, it focuses on 1990's work by Lyons, and will include also ARM's
Kronberg clinic.

for those well acquainted and less acquainted with the urban spaces of inner
Melbourne. The walking tour wonders around the inner limits of the city,
exploring well known and unknown above and below ground spaces. A predominantly
